VIB[]K is an independent publisher and a cultural project which investigates innovative ways of re-considering the traditional publishing process. We combine printed and digital media in order to make books responsive to the interchange between authors and readers, even before being printed. We aim to create books that grow and change over time. Open books that, in addition to transmitting knowledge, also become platforms for cooperative research, beyond dialog. In order to make this dynamic possible while guaranteeing quality, we are creating the open platform b()()ka in collaboration with c a l c. + info
VIB[]K works with “open” edition to very different extents, from the creative process to book formatting, the technology we use, the philosophy for copy and distribution or the topics we are committed to.
VIB[]K focuses on architectonic practices that investigate the possibility of constructing modifiable environments engaging allied disciplines as ecology, sociology, art or technology across it boundaries. + info
VIB[]K also offers material and organisational conditions to others for creating and disseminating their books, always with a commitment to the ideas from which these arise and develop. + info

VIB[]K es una editorial independiente y un proyecto cultural, que investiga formas innovadoras de publicación que reconsideran el proceso editorial tradicional. Nuestros libros combinan la edición impresa y la digital para hacer los libros sensibles al intercambio entre editores y lectores, incluso antes de ser impresos. Queremos crear libros que crecen y cambian con el tiempo. Libros abiertos que, además de transmitir conocimiento, se convierten en plataformas de investigación cooperativa, más allá del diálogo. VIB[]K trabaja con la edición "abierta" en muy diversos sentidos, que van del proceso al formato de los libros, la tecnología que utilizamos, la filosofía de copia y distribución o los mismos contenidos de la línea editorial.
VIB[]K está especialmente comprometida con las prácticas y posiciones que indagan la posibilidad de construir entornos "editables", creando alianzas entre la arquitectura y el urbanismo y disciplinas asociadas como la ecología, el arte, la sociología o la tecnología, atravesando sus límites disciplinares. + info
